I think that Coco Chanel is an inspired person , she brings revolution to fashion style and makes the rule in her way, even thought face the music she didn't get away, just do the best.

Reflection : I only knew that Coco Chanel is a important woman for fashion, but I do not know how much did Coco do, also, I don’t know Coco is not her real name, but Coco is a simple and cute name. After this class, I understood that what we know about fashion is mostly invented by Coco Chanel, she did so many things about women’s clothing, she shortened the dress and revealed the ankle, free the waist, eliminated corsets, revive jersey, I love her because she did this, the corset is very terrible and old for me. Although a lot of people think that women should stay long hair nowadays, but Coco cut her hair long ago, it is a behavior of progressive and brave, she lives the life of women she thinks, not the society thinks. Maybe we are not brave enough as she is.

I know that there are so many people were already been the fan of Chanel the brand instead of Chanel the person. That is because Coco can establish so many fashion icons and bring out lots of good stuffs that makes people enjoy it and become fan of it. Coco succeeded because of her products, not her story. I think if Coco Chanel tell everyone about her life earlier, there will be more people like me fall into the magical of Chanel this brand due to the founder of it. Also, it's a very cool thing to me that one brand can be a set of canon, and established discipline in fashion.

Reflection : Coco Chanel, whose real name is Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, was born in 1883. When she was 12 years old, her father abandon them and sent them to an orphanage. She stayed at the orphanage for 7 years. She sang at the nightclub and made friends with many merchants and soldiers. This helped her start her early career of opening her first woman's hat shop. With her fashion style, she shortened the dress and revealed woman's ankles. She also freed the waist, eliminated corsets, revived jersey, cut her hair and brown her skin. These made her become the lead of  Feminism. At last, she died in 1971.
