Description: This course
aims to give students a basic introduction to western fashion in 12 units. It
will be conducted in English in order to provide students with an environment
that’s most positive and friendly to speak/use English. The materials are
YouTube videos about some famous designers in the world—Thomas Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Coco Chanel, Guccio
Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Issey Miyake, Jimmy Choo, Vera Wang, Anna
Sui, Jason Wu, etc. There’re no midterm or final exams; instead, students
are expected to work on various tasks to demonstrate your competence in
English. I hope that you’d study fashion while working on English.
