Reflection: I like the designers the presenters mentioned in the class. Especially for the first one,郭倍, because I think her design is very unique and elegant. I like her designs are based on the traditional Chinese images. The reason why I think she is unique is because the fashion world nowadays are western-oriented, very few designers design and speak out the beauty of the Eastern culture. Even designers who have Asian backgrounds often caster to the westerners.  I think her designs will get more attention in the future, also because of the rise of China.

For example, the trunk of Louis Vuitton is said to be useful. I think the design is elegant, but the price is too high.

Reflection: I think his mother is a really influential person in his life. She is very wise and encouraging to believe in her son. I like his elegant and comfortable designs. They are not too luxurious or unwearable. They are just simple and look fashionable.

Summary: From the interview, Anna Sui express her idea and her insights for fashion design.

Reflection: I like this interview. This is a good interview in this class so far. I like the video because Anna Sui is a really passionate woman and from her talk, I can feel how she is so in love of fashion. She is a successful fashion designer and loves what she does. I admire her insight for fashion and her enthusiasm for her design work. At the end of her talk, she says,"Live your dream". She really fulfills it and makes her legend.

Reflection: I think the founder of this brand is a very creative person. The feature of Ferragamo are that the brand uses lively color, and combine them. The brand is creative in using odd materials to make shoes. And I can feel how the founder's enthusiasm  for making woman's shoes.
