Reflection : In the video, Wang said she once work in Vogue for a long time. Besides, she worked for Ralph Lauren for two years. These special experience made her have distinct design style. I really like her style. It is different to normal fashion brand. She does not use lots of accessories and too much colors instead, she just keeps her works simple. Just like in the video, she said she was a minimalism. That's why I like it so much.

Reflection : Sandra Choi is creative direct of Jimmy Choo. In the video, she introduced how she came up with her idea and how she combined her idea and the brand Swarovski together. Finally, the Cinderella finished. It looks pretty well but just a little bit sparkle to me. Overall, it still a luxury masterpiece which I think there are lots of people love to put on!

Video : Sculpture or Fashion? The Haute Couture of Issey Miyake
Summary : The video briefly introduces some design idea of Issey Miyake

Reflection : Issey Miyake's creation is really surprised to me. Though Italian's Designer Mariano had used folds in suit design about 100 years, Issey Miyake still made it into a brand new design. Now it even is seen as a piece of art and kept in the museum. I think some of his design looks like a sculpture and maybe no one will wear them on the street. It still a irreplaceable innovation in design history.

Reflection : This is the longest video so far. I like Ralph Lauren's life attitude because he just like, "Oh, I want to do that.", "I want to be myself."and so on. His life philosophy is very impressive to me. I think we should be ourselves more. Try not to be influence so easily. Sometimes we just change our mind to quickly. Besides, he founded a cancer center. This made it a big different to other fashion brands. It feels much closer to us. By the way, Ralph Lauren is the one I like most so far.

Summary : This video briefly talks about history of Salvatore Ferragamo and its shoes museum.

Reflection : The host of museum told us lots about the history of Salvatore Ferragamo. She also told about some important design of the shoe. One made me really impressive is the Invisile Shoe which was made in 1940s. I think it must be a big innovation in that era. However, I do not like this brand, maybe, because Ferragamo makes women shoe. None of them caught my eyes but it might be great to some others.

Summary : It gave us very brief talk about history of GUCCI.

Reflection : I think this video is a little bit short. We can only get some brief introduction from it. However, I like the PPT of this week presentation. It gave a lot details of GUCCI's products. For example, why one of their design is made of bamboo. That is really impressive to me. Oh! My favorite part is that the presentator brought his collection bags, maybe sort of. I think having a look to a real bag is much more than thousands of introductions. It is my first time to see a luxury bag. What a special experience to me.
