Summary: 
Our three exchange student show  Kuo Pei, Apu Jan and Angus Chiang,ext. new oriental fashion designers for us. The items they designed have more ideal of Eastern culture.

Reflection:

Summary : 
The video show us Jason Wu's story. We can feel his fashionable idea,innovative items and humble attitude in the video.He not only designs garment but also create dolls with eastern face. Besides , we also know that Wu's mentoring teacher is his mother through the interview.

Reflection :

I really love Jason Wu doll , I've saw a news which talked about Jason Wu's growth process. In Wu's childhood, he was often ridiculed because of his different behavior. BOYs were expected to play cars and computer games, however, Wu had deep love for Barbie dolls which were thought to be GIRLs toys. As a result, he was labeled sissy.I was touched cause he didn't lose himself and finally broke the stereotype. He succeed leading a lovely life and show the world how powerful talent would be.

Summary :
Anna Sui share her fashion design idea to us. Including the concept of mixing Rock and Roll and Bohemian style, we can generalize that Anna is good at merge two opposite fashion styles together.

Reflection :

Sometimes, my sister judges my wearing style weird. She says that I can't wear two clothes with different styles together,I was upset hearing her suggestion. After knowing more about Anna Sui, I felt comfortable and rejoice, so does she have her own fashion idea. We won't care about others that much. Maybe Fashion is Wearing Your Life Bravely.

Summary :
The video introduce the famous bridal gown designer ,Vera Wang. Her once dream was to be an Olympic figure skater and finally became a wonderful fashioner. Besides, Wang also told us the design principle in her mind.

Reflection :

I was touched by Vera Wang's story. Her abundant life experience made me think more than fashion—there's a place suit you that the GOD had set. Once failed to be an Olympic figure skater , she gave up but didn't feel upset about life. Instead, she put her whole heart to the fashion industry. With her firm principle of customizing gown, she would lead her life different and bright even she is 68 years old now.

Video 1 : Interview with the famous Jimmy Choo!
Summary : 
The video though a conversation between Jimmy Choo and the host to introduce the basic information  of Jimmy Choo, the Malaysia Chinese who was reported at 8 pages of  Vogue.

Reflection :
In the past , it was believed that Westerners are more outstanding in fashion design. However, more and more oriental designers like Jimmy Choo have overturned the stereotype. There are a lot of celebrities like Princess Diana wearing the shoes which are made by Jimmy, I think Jimmy is the proud of oriental people.

Summary :
the video show us the wonderful design by Sandra Choi,the niece of Choo's wife. The design is called Cinderella , which is inlaided by Swarovski diamonds.

Reflection :
The luxury shoe brand is a family business . Jimmy choo has inherited the business and made the brand more excellent. Reflection
Review the past several luxury brand, I think POLO shirt is the one near my wearing style,cause the POLO shirt is much younger, more comfortable to wear. Besides, it's cheaper than the other fashion brands' items. The idea came to my mind afer I knew the POLO shirt's story is that ''how we live , what we wear.'' POLO shirt was for golf in the begining , and became popular for its' cozy. Nowadays, I think POLO is the one that not only comfortable to wear but also can show your respect when having a date.

Reflection
I think creativity is something necessary in our life. Besides , we also need something important : courage. With the two personality , we can do many different things. And eventually, find your value in the world. The founder of  Ferragamo,Salvatore Ferragamo was just the person with enough creativity and courage.

Summary : the video show us Gabrielle's life and the founded progress of the luxury brand Coco Chanel.

Reflection : Inside the Coco Chanel's bright image, there's a tough and heartbreak story. It is said that "nothing great ever comes easy" I think Coco Chanel's story really proved that. Video1 : Know more about Louis Vuitton, the French fashion brand that's become a household name.
Summary : The video tells the story about how LV was founded and shows us how special and high-quality the LV suitcases are.

Reflection : Suitcase is a seldom used item in my daily life . However, in the 19th , for  loyal family or for businessmen , suitcase is a important necessity and what brand is the suitcase they wore also show there profession and status.

Summary : The video give us more detail about LV, including telling us how the heirs changes and the deffirent idea of the brand among the three heirs : Louis Vuitton ,Georges Vuitton and Gaston-Louis Vuitton.

Reflection : I think the education in Louis Vuitton's family was successful, because the three generation all reached to higher step,keeping the brand in the fashion center. With clever idea , they never stoping breakthrough, I think that's how LV became a household name.

Summary:In order to celebrate the 160th anniversary ,the company made the vedio to tell public the story of its founding. Show us how the logo mean,who the founder is,and the revolution of some items,ext.

Reflection : The brand has been found for more than 160 years and it has acted a marvelous character in the fashion industry . I think the success of the brand is because of the creative ideas which catch the era. It's novel to learn that many of the items including trench coat originated from military uniform in warll.

Summary : The vedio show the origine design ideas of Burberry's clothes. Focusing on the classic item of Burberry " trench coat" and "cashmere scarf "

Reflection : Living in Kinmen , soldiers are surrounding me. And everything about war is also close to me . So, it's shocked me that the trench coat finally become a important item in fashion industry. The story of trench coat also inspire me to think how can we do to make "Kinmen soldier industry" deffirent. For example, maybe we can put military uniform element into fashion design.

Summary : The revolutions of fashion wearings and suitable makeups in each period during 1910s to 2010s.

Reflection : Fashion items change every ten years. For me, the most charming part of fashion industry is its high changing speed. For fear of being labeled ''out of fashion'',people buy more and more fashion clothes. However, we will not wear it anymore in the near future, just like we see artificial silk today.

Summary : The video shows us the introduction of specific items which we think normal today,including bikini, Air Jorden, high heals, leather jacket and so on.

Reflection : It's very interesting to learn the history of these fashion items. I discovered that many of the items including leather jacket and sunglasses were originated from Hollywood movie star and pilots,moreover, it's also shocked me that in the beginning, men worn the high heels to emphasize their social status. I feel excited about today's course and can't wait to learn more about fashion by English.
