Reflection : When I first saw Anna Sui in a department store, I thought their clothes, perfumes, and the whole style are so special. I thought Anna Sui is weird, and I did not know what their style is. But after the class, I thought the design of Anna Sui has her own personality. It combined many styles, such as Anna Sui’s favorite rock-and-roll, grunge, nostalgia, hippie, punk, bohemian, and slightly humorous. Now I think Anna Sui is very cool. Reflection : The video shows some designing experiences of Vera Wang, and we can know that she was a fashion editor of Vogue magazine for 16 years and once worked as a designer director under Ralph Lauren for 2 years before she became a designer. And I think it is a great training of the sense of fashion, that’s why her designing gown is simple but elegant. Moreover, The 4 principles of Vera Wang ensures the quality of their commodities. And there are some kinds of her wedding gown:

Reflection : Jimmy Choo is a well-known Malaysia shoe-designer, and his brand is a boutique brand. I first knew this brand when I watched a television program called Asia’s Next Top Model, they wore the shoes of Jimmy Choo taking wonderful photos. I thought the shoes of Jimmy Choo are more beautiful than Ferragamo. And there are many shoes types of Jimmy Choo:

With the crystal of Swarovski, the shoes of Jimmy Choo are more special. Jimmy Choo is famous for handmade shoes and wedding shoes, they all are 4 inch heels, and many celebrities once wore it. Reflection : I only knew that Coco Chanel is a important woman for fashion, but I do not know how much did Coco do, also, I don’t know Coco is not her real name, but Coco is a simple and cute name. After this class, I understood that what we know about fashion is mostly invented by Coco Chanel, she did so many things about women’s clothing, she shortened the dress and revealed the ankle, free the waist, eliminated corsets, revive jersey, I love her because she did this, the corset is very terrible and old for me. Although a lot of people think that women should stay long hair nowadays, but Coco cut her hair long ago, it is a behavior of progressive and brave, she lives the life of women she thinks, not the society thinks. Maybe we are not brave enough as she is.

And it is really a luxury brand, from the video, we can understand the production process of their product is very cautious and strict
